As the seasons are changing and summer is drawing nearer, I wanted to reach back into my archive for part two of the two part Verano Mix series featuring some of my favorite songs for the summer. This mix features a blend of hip hop and funky reggae. I recorded this mix in 2006 as I was starting Roots and Branches; this is some of the music I was playing at our first block parties.
